                             Horses to Watch

I am starting to update this page weekly now. One point I want to make, the horses you see here are not necessarily going to win their next start. You have to look at the race and decide for yourself if they have a chance against the competition. There will be comments as to why I think they are live and you must make the final decision. Please enter them in the stable mail section of the racing form or whatever other system you use to be notified when they run. Those of you that have followed this section know that there have been some very good returns on your investment. Hopefully that trend will continue.

With the opening of Keeneland on April 2, we will be putting horses on this page daily throughout the Kentucky and Saratoga seasons. As I said above, the horses I put on here have some reason for bring here, but you must look at the race they are entered in and see if they are competitive.

July 30,

Del Mar: Bettys Tribute- Should have won, was in trouble the whole race.

July 26,

Del Mar: Legendary Traders- Had a terrible trip. Should win back against same kind.
June 13,

Churchill Downs: Lady Carmen- A nice 2yo filly trained by Asmussen who got shut off bad going into turn and recovered to finish a solid 4th.

May 15,

Churchill Downs: Conservationist- A $800,000 yearling, this one ran a huge race to finish 4th although he didn't seem to care for the race track. Will improve on a fast track.

Terrific Storm- This colt came out of the same race as the above mentioned colt. He finished 3rd and didn't care for the track either. He too, will improve on  a fast traxck.

May 12,

Churchill Downs: Real Trooper- Ran a huge race first time out for Romans, will improve in next start.

April 18,

Keeneland: Song Of The Sword- Ran a huge race in the Lexington after a rough trip, will run big in stakes soon.

April 15,

Keeneland: 2nd race-Killenaule- First time starter by Fusiachi Pegasus was 2nd after being left at post. Will win soon.

April 14,

Keeneland: 2nd race- Paragon Queen- This 2yo filly had a record work for Ocala sales in 9 and change for 1/8. She stumbled badly leaving gate and finished a solid 2nd. Will win soon.

6th race- Miss Moses- Another first timer that stumbled badly a few steps out of gate and then rushed up to contest a 21 and change first quarter. Will run good in next start.
